Poor tactics , lack of motivation and thinking on the spot from the sidelines , looks lost and lack of ideas , players looking fed up , has players sitting far too deep , no pressure on oppo , no sustained pressure, people can see the tactics aren't working to our players strengths why isn't he and for someone who is very intelligent he is coming across in the media as awful at the moment

What Im saying is, ok he hasnt got them playing the way we want them to yet. Im not stupid, I can see with my own eyes whats happening on the pitch. But the captain agrees with me. The players need to pull their finger out and the manager needs a bit of time to turn things around. People wanted Roy to change things over night. "The wand factor" I call it. Because of our poor start theyre stating hes not good enough as a fact. Any manager, and I mean ANY manager taking over this club, this season, would have struggled with the state we have been left in.
There is absolutely no point in constantly screaming for the managers head after each game we lose or draw. Its insane and unrealistic. It also heightens the negativity and makes people more nervous and agitated.
Have some faith. It can be argued that we dropped two points yesterday, but we came from behind, gained a point and moved up the table

Unfortunatly daws that is what happens when things don't change and in fact get worse as each week goes by .

Dawson if there was nothing wrong with the tactics why were the players playing so deep if they haven't been told too ? Because they are sitting too deep it means we concede possession to the oppo ,they create far more chances than us . Worst start to league in 50 years , 15th in prem 6 points from 6 , only one team has had less shots on goal than us , minus goal difference . Something is not right Dawson .

There is a difference between expecting miracles in a few days and not seeing any positives at all in any of our games. No I dont expect us to win every game 5-0 but quite frankly we are playing a lot worse than we did in the last season. They way we just drop deep and let teams like sunderland dominate possession at anfield is terrible to watch. If we lost while actually making an effort at winning you would not see as many negative posts here.

Roy doesnt come off the bench enough. Really?
Maybe he doesnt, but can we prove that coming to the touchline improves play? Reluctantly I will remind people of the last manager, who was waving like a loon, screaming, eyes bulging and shaking his head constantly, with the result that we played sh'it and came 7th.
Roys too old. Really?
When we start moving up the table will those who made that questionable statement admit theyre wrong? Or do we have to win the league to prove hes not too old to manage us?
Clutching at straws guys, clutching at straws...
:eyebrow

Big man it feels like every other post you type has a pop at Rafael Benitez or slates people for having a go at Roy Hodgson. Is that a little hypocritical?

I dont think Im hypocritical. I am just pointing out that for every criticism of Roy, no matter how petty, there is an equal and proportionate criticism of Rafa.
Criticise him for getting things wrong, if its justified. But dont slag him off for things which may or may not be true just to undermine him.
As I keep saying, hes the manager of LFC.
Respect would be nice

are you then implying that everyone who criticises Roy wanted Rafa to stay? isnt that a little bit of a generalisation?
All round the fields of Anfield Road
Where once we watched the King Kenny play (and could he play!)
Stevie Heighway on the wing
We had dreams and songs to sing
'Bout the glory, round the Fields of Anfield Road

Thats my point "not seeing any positives" a sweeping and untrue statement if ever Ive seen one.
Tell me truthfully, hand on heart that you havent seen ANY positives this season

Considering how bad last season was, this season we actually play worse in all areas of the pitch. No I dont see the positive in this.
