So would I, but that says more about Maxi than Kuyt to be honest...

Times up Alex.....

What age was Fergie when he won the FA Cup first, and then the EPL, though? I think what some are intimating is that if he hasn't done it already, chances are he never will.

Why has he said we "dominated and created lots of chances" - I was at the game, was he wearing dark feckin sunglasses!

For the first time I am genuinely worried whether we have the rigth man.

"Every time I think Im out, they pull me back in"!!

Roy doesnt come off the bench enough. Really?
Maybe he doesnt, but can we prove that coming to the touchline improves play? Reluctantly I will remind people of the last manager, who was waving like a loon, screaming, eyes bulging and shaking his head constantly, with the result that we played sh'it and came 7th.
Roys too old. Really?
When we start moving up the table will those who made that questionable statement admit theyre wrong? Or do we have to win the league to prove hes not too old to manage us?

Big man it feels like every other post you type has a pop at Rafael Benitez or slates people for having a go at Roy Hodgson. Is that a little hypocritical?

We aren't playing well, confidence has drained away and we need to do better. I think it was a poor decision to have mereiles on the right, but I don't FWIW buy into the theory that if Roy stood up more we would win more. Ferguson only stands up to berate officials, I don't remember Bob Paisley standing on the touchline barking our orders,  Mourinho sometimes stands up but then sometimes sits down, Matin O Neill jumps around a lot, while Wenger stands up and folds his arms. David Moyes jumps around a bit, Alex Macleish the same, Big Ron Atkinson used to pretty much sit down. Brian Clough used to sit on the bench throughout the whole game, Fabio Capello kind of flits between lunatic shouting and pushing Stuart Pearce off the bench, while Rafa used to stand up when we were winning, but I also noticed that he stood up when we were losing as well.

I've given it some thought and have come to the conclusion that there is no corrolation between how often managers stand up, and how often they win. I will confess though to slightly preferring the Martin O'Neill jump around like a madman routine, simply because if the game is a bit boring it gives you something else to watch.

I dont think Im hypocritical. I am just pointing out that for every criticism of Roy, no matter how petty, there is an equal and proportionate criticism of Rafa.
Criticise him for getting things wrong, if its justified. But dont slag him off for things which may or may not be true just to undermine him.
As I keep saying, hes the manager of LFC.
Respect would be nice

But Thommo, Roys getting this criticism because hes the current manager and the team are playing like old spinsters, the majority of us arnt being petty in this criticism, though anyone who judges managerial abilty on how a man behaves on the touchline has to be on drugs to be honest.
