The Owl stuff may or may not be funny, but I'd like to have seen peoples reactions if anybody had even dared to talk about Rafa in the way they talk about Roy. The very people who are splitting their sides laughing now would have been having heart attacks.

People aren't far from it though Barry, and he's been in charge for 5 league matches!

Doesn't sit well with me to be honest, while's he our manager he deserves to be treated with respect, in the same way Rafa did.

There's a few good Liverpool fans embarrassing themselves tonight.

Yes the old "but I'm not asking for him to be sacked" doesn't hold much water for me either. In fairness to Barry he's been one of the more sensible ones, but some have let themselves down huge time from what I can see, and my opinion of our fan base has been forever changed. To think I used to take lectures off them about being a real fan and the fact I was a knee jerker as well, not to mention the fact they reminded me Ferguson took seven years to win the title and the fact that every time we lost it was the owners fault . Absolutely incredible really.

Like I've said a few times, when a new manager is appointed you support him and give him a chance, whether you agreed with his appointment or not. It's a basic as far as I can see, and huge sections of our fans have failed and are failing to do that.

I'm no "Roy lover", and yous can all have a good laugh at the manager it's all good. I just happen to think the position of Liverpool manager is an institution which ought to be respected. As for all this "Well rafa got called worse", I was wondering when that was going to come up. Rafa was in charge for six seasons and I don't think he got as much in all that time as the current manager has had in six weeks.

For my part, I never went in for the old FSW sh!t, and nobody on here did from what I can remember. What I do remember with Rafa though, you couldn't even say you weren't happy with a point at Sheffield United without getting called all the c...s under the sun.

That could be true of some members and I agree Roy shouldn't be getting the flack he is getting so early on whether me or others didn't agree with his appointment,

but you can't tell me the flack Rafa got last year could ever be worsened when most on here and other forums, not to mention Sky :censored: Sports who were going after him like a pack of wolves and then every other ex Liverpool player apart from the decent few like McAteer, John Banes and Daglish etc and media papers.

Now that was unfair

Feck that they want him to stay they love him infact.

Do you know what Bill Shanklys grandson said today when he went to the pub last night he knew people where waiting to take the p!ss over the Northampton match but what hurt him most where Fulham fans laughing at him.

I think that says it all.
