I'm of the same mindset, I feel a little more confident than our last trip to trafford but only slightly. Would take a draw in a mili-second but then who really goes there expecting to win? If Roy gets the personnel right, we get a decent amount of possession and perhaps Torres can get us ahead early then we've got a chance. I really don't fancy our chances if they score the first goal though. Hate this game.

I hate, infact never think of biting someones arm off for a point in a football match.

If someone offered me a point for the game now I'd have to roll the dice and play the game.

That's just me, I'm a born winner
Football is a relatively simple game and Roy knows it ;)

Would rather the team went there to try and win the game - would take a battling performance to try and win than to look for a point .

In fairness I'm not suggesting we "look for a point" or park the bus or anything similar. Infact I've already said I think we will need to score at least once to get anything out of the game, and that we should set up accordingly. If Roy goes with two holding midfielders, I'll be whinging as loud as anybody.

As I've said a few times now, denying the sky is blue in order to prove a point isn't going to be my style of pro-ness at all.

Well true, I should have said "I'll be whinging as loud as anybody who is being sensible" :D.

We're already getting people suggesting that we really ought to be able to win there, like it was the Majedski and not Old Trafford we were going to.

Are you havin' laugh ???

you'll take a close defeat...is that to safeguard the goal difference....

I can understand taking a point but I will never accept going into a game "a close defeat is ok"...would you honestly accept the players kicking off with that pathetic mindset....

Are you having difficulty in understanding what I saying?
I apologise for confusing you
We have to go for it. Its all or nothing and if we do go at them and get beaten then I will accept it grudgingly if the players have given it their best shot.
I wont like it, but I will accept it.
Hope that clears it up?

Ditto all. One point will be fine!
