He is neither sh!t nor World Class you are right. Neither though is important. The fact that he isn't good enough is, and as such he should be moved on.

problem is mate most other managers have the same view on him and dont wish to risk their money on him, i think we are going to be stuck with him.

And it doesn't take a BBC hub and the city of London to come to that conclusion.
Football is a relatively simple game and Roy knows it ;)

There is no shame in it but Lucas is just not good enough for Liverpool. Im sure hes a very decent lad and he is clearly a decent footballer on some level but not in the top half of the Premiership in England. He has had long enoughto prove he can make a difference at the club but hes not make a significant contribution in any game I have seen him play. That tells me we are wasting money on his wages as we need people in the team that have an impact on games and make our side better when selected.

I say make use of Shelvey. Like some have pointed out Lucas had enough chances and he can't make it. We will then have Poulsen, Meireles, Gerrard and Shelvey for the 2 CM slots. I think this is enough. Buy a striker with Lucas money and left over of the Masch money. Ola Toivonen sounds about right.

He's a bit too young I reckon (Shelvey).

Watching the game back yesterday, he was actually doing a nice job orchestrating attacks with nice forward passes in the second half. He just needs the confidence to do it because in the first half he did bugger all!

I would have thought with a new manager he would have upped his game and actually started doing something positive in order to show what he is capable of
Sadly he looks like the same player he was before
Not good enough

The only way he will ever truly win the fans over is if he scores a hat-trick and saves a penalty in an up coming game.
