Change title header Mascherano deserts the sinking ship.

There is no-one anywhere in the world at any stage who is any bigger or any better than this football club.

So Barca have effectively swapped Yaya for Masch and made £10 million

What do you mean rising mate? Are we definitely getting 22 million or does the 6 million depend on conditions?

Good luck at Barce Masher - thanks for all you have done for the club - shame the memories are a bit sour now after the last week but can't blame you for going just they way you went about it

Brilliant player Mascherano - best midfield tackler in the world. Not as big a loss as Xabi but still massive. Unfortunately he/his family didn't settle in England and he had to move on - but he's made a big contribution to our best football over the past few years and I for one, thank him for that.

always gave his everything for liverpool and will be missed. unfortunately the method of his departure has soured peoples memories, but for the effort and never say die attitude he always displayed should not be forgotten. all the best in your career masch YNWA

Terrible piece of business for us!!!
We paid more for him when he couldn't get a game for West Ham.
Now he is Argentina captain and one of best DMs in the world and we sell him for less!!

it works both ways. we can make similar deals with other clubs.

True but in our current situation 6 extra millions could mean one more player.

Absolutely agree, and to those wishing him well, the reason the fee is so low is that Barca knew they could get him on the cheap. At a time when we were prepared to accept his wish to move but needed a fair price in return Mash's antics seriously undermined our bargaining power.
