12 million that's a joke ! He's hardly helped matters by apparently refusing to play tonight.

They aren't going to up the price while he's refusing to play, they'll just bide their time.

Surely if he's refusing to play , we can refuse to pay him.

If all this IS true he's a disgrace of a man. Mercenary.

Eh, honestly people are being a little hard on him I think. Bit of a :censored:

move to agree to terms if he has and all since it gives them a huge upper hand in negotiating a deal but he's wanted out for a while now and we should have done a better job at finding a better offer than this a long time ago.

Have to disagree, the club have put a very fair price on his head considering hes THE BEST IN THE WORLD IN HIS CHOOSEN POSITION. He should take into account the amount of money the club spent on aquiring his services in the first place (over £17m IIRC), taking him from the West Ham reserve team and giving him the chance to blossom into the player he is now. Seriously, does the guy expect the club just to be lowballed because his life isnt quite perfect enough?

Masher wants to leave - that i can understand and cant blame him if he wants to leave - i know this may seem out of leftfield but im going to put a lot of the blame of the owners for putting us into this financial situation where we are scrimping and saving money left right and center and in the situation where this sort of offer may well be accepted . Masher showed when he played against arsenal that he would still give 100% - its a shame this is now going to spoil good memories off him .
