I'm honestly not on a wind up here, What does any left back that has played for us in the past two seasons have that Paul Konchesky doesn't?

Add to the equation that Aurellio has signed.  Would this player not be good cover for LB?

I won't celebrate Rafa going........ but I will be over the moon if Dalglish comes in. League within 2 years if he gets the job, AND YOU CAN QUOTE ME ON THAT.

That doesnt really mean anything.  We have had mediocre left backs and Konchesky would just join the list as another mediocre Left back.  We really have to move beyond players who will 'do the job'.  We need better than that.

have we turned into Everton now? By bidding less than other clubs have, Spurs bid 10 million for him the other day so Bill Kenwright I mean err Liverpool bid 8 million for him, what a joke.

Is it the fans fault that them pair of tw@ts are still here putting a black cloud over the club? Thats the reason for my doom & gloom sorry to bring a bit of reality into the equation  :glare:

Hodgson ready to launch £5m Figueroa bid

Liverpool manager Roy Hodgson is preparing a £5million bid for Wigan’s Honduras star Maynor Figueroa.

Hodgson will make a renewed effort to raid the Latics for Figueroa after his snub from Luke Young.

Figueora appeared in all three of Honduras’ games at the World Cup and Wigan boss Roberto Martinez faces a fight to keep him.

Stoke have also registered their interest for the 27-year-old left-back, who shot to Premier League stardom with his stunning 60-yard goal against the Potters last season.
