 can anyone understand this, have we signed him for 6 million Euros

Roy's desperate for a 30 year old isn't he? ???
All round the fields of Anfield Road
Where once we watched the King Kenny play (and could he play!)
Stevie Heighway on the wing
We had dreams and songs to sing
'Bout the glory, round the Fields of Anfield Road

  Bav thats one sh!tty a$s translation... heres another one:

Juventus and Liverpool have reportedly agreed on the price of the Danish midfielder.

Christian Poulsen cost six million euros, equivalent to 45 million dollars, think Footballpress.net.

The blonde midfield dynamo has been rumored all summer away from the big Italian club. The next station is alleged to be Daniel Aggers Liverpool, where Poulsen's former coach from the time in FCK Copenhagen, Roy Hodgson, has set itself in the hot seat.

Sporten.dk have tried to get a comment from Christian Poulsen's adviser, Richard Bonnesen, and of course the main character himself, but it has not succeeded.

The rumors gained momentum when Christian Poulsen was left out of Juventus' squad for Thursday's match against Shamrock Rovers.

Had he played the battle, he would not be able to perform in Europe League link for a possible new club.

I hope not.  It's another player on the cheap and another player on the wrong side of 30.

Please no, I dont want Poulsen unless he's a definite backup.  He's useless most of the time and on top of that he's dirty :censored: player.

Ahmen

Hes an absolute beast for 17, anyone know how much hes valued at?

I really like the idea of us rebuilding with top quality youngsters

In: Romelu Lukaku and Connor Wickhman
Out: Ngog, Nemeth

Have Torres, Lukaku, Pacheco and Wickham upfront

Weve got so many promising youngsters now thats why i dont like being linked with all these past it 30-33 year olds

I don't understand why everyone is moaning about us being linked with 30 year old players. You need experience in the team.  Who remembers Gary McAlister? We have a squad that is full of young talent, we definately have room for a couple of 30 yr olds, especially if the price is right
Our job is simple, to support the club, not just parts of the club that are easy to support, but every one who plays a part, that includes ALL players.  We are stronger when we are all walking in the same direction. Walk On

Tottenham Hotspur manager Harry Redknapp and Liverpool boss Roy Hodgson has been tipped to make a move for Aston Villa winger Ashley Young after being cut dramatically in the race to sign the 25-year-old attacking midfielder.

Redknapp is a confirmed admirer of Young and according to the Daily Mail could offer David Bentley, Robbie Keane and Jermaine Jenas in exchange for the talented winger. Young is reportedly upset at the lack of ambition at Villa Park and has already voiced his unhappiness that teammate James Milner could be sold to Premier League rivals Manchester City.

Martin O’Neill has given Young a pay rise to £65 000 a week while slapping a £30 million price tag on the player’s head in a bid to warn off potential suitors Tottenham Hotspur, Liverpool and Manchester City. However Redknapp can offer Young Champions League football as well as a legitimate challenge to the Premier League crown, while Villa have yet to strengthen their squad ahead of the new Premier League campaign.

Liverpool manager Roy Hodgson has also been cut by sports bookmakers in the race to sign Young; however it is unlikely the cash-strapped club will be able to afford the Villa winger, unless a potential takeover by Kenneth Huang is confirmed during the transfer window. The Chinese businessman has promised transfer funds if he takes control of the Anfield club.
