As I said before being 30+ isnt an issue if the players are very very good. The problem I have is seeing 29, 30+ players coming in when there are younger options avaliable.

I'm looking at the midfield and the players we seem to be linked with and I do not see much pace in there.

Juventus and Liverpool have reportedly agreed on the price of the Danish midfielder.

Christian Poulsen cost six million euros, equivalent to 45 million dollars, think Footballpress.net.

The blonde midfield dynamo has been rumored all summer away from the big Italian club. The next station is alleged to be Daniel Aggers Liverpool, where Poulsen's former coach from the time in FCK Copenhagen, Roy Hodgson, has set itself in the hot seat.

Sporten.dk have tried to get a comment from Christian Poulsen's adviser, Richard Bonnesen, and of course the main character himself, but it has not succeeded.

The rumors gained momentum when Christian Poulsen was left out of Juventus' squad for Thursday's match against Shamrock Rovers.

Had he played the battle, he would not be able to perform in Europe League link for a possible new club.

dont think there's anything in this tbh...

Poulsen agent denies Reds link

Christian Poulsen has not received any contact about a possible move to Liverpool, according to the player's agent.

The Danish international has long been linked with a transfer to Merseyside, where he could be used as a possible replacement for Javier Mascherano.

Mascherano has requested to leave Anfield, with Inter Milan his likely destination, and Poulsen is rumoured to be available to leave Juventus after failing to hold down a regular first-team spot.

"I've also read the voices on newspapers but I can't comment on the rumours," said Joern Bonnesen to Calciomercato.it.

"I have not heard from anyone from Liverpool.

"Juventus have not called me and I have not found it necessary to do it.

"How many chances does Poulsen have to leave Juventus? No comment."

probably just re-hashed from this:

4th August 2009:

Liverpool close on Poulsen
Juve midfielder targeted by Reds boss Benitez

Sky Sports News understands Liverpool are closing in on the signing of Juventus midfielder Christian Poulsen.

Juve are open to the sale of the Denmark international and a number of sides have been linked with an interest in his services.

Premier League duo Fulham and Everton are among those clubs said to be admirers of the 29-year-old.

But it is believed that Rafa Benitez's Liverpool are in pole position to secure Poulsen's signature.

It is speculated that the Reds' move for Poulsen could be linked with Xabi Alonso's uncertain future, amid interest from Real Madrid

Gone or Poulsen, Parker, Koncheskey replaced by Cissokho, Aguero, Alonso :)

I know they have done that because they know a lot of people are adicted to it and people don't buy into Sky Sports 1,2 etc because they will just catch up on the goals on SSN.

Still you are right they are stingy gets

Think it was because they had to give Sky sports 1 & 2 to Virgin and BT at a cheaper price so in return they have added SSN to the premium sports package.  I dont blame them to be honest.

You don't blame them? There a billionaire company that apart from a few channels offer very little in television performance with their constant repeat of repeats off terrestrial television from the 70's 80's etc and movies that are below standard that are also repeated.

and even the pornos are sh!te

No.  They lead the technology race which Virgin and BT then expect to pick up the best of that technology on the cheap.  Who lead the HD revolution? Sky.  Virgin offerd about 2 HD channels while Sky offered multiple channels which Virgin expected to pick up on the cheap even though it's sky who invest the resources in the first place. Who is leading the way in 3D?  Again it's Sky.  I dont like Murdoch but its Sky who seem to be pushing the boundries while nobody else does.

As for the content.  Well u get all the sport u want and soon all of HBO's content will be on sky as well so its all good as far as i'm concerned.
