He's a top player no doubt. I did chuckle at the post about Ozil and how Mash tamed him in the World Cup though. I wouldn't be using a game such as that as the advert for the best defensive midfielder in the World considering Germany won 4-0 but anyway. 20-25 mill will be the price, probably less than he's worth but he and his agent have us by the b0ll0cks unfortunately.

I think 20 million is very cheeky.
He will probably end up going for about 25 but we should be playing hardball and trying to squeeze every last penny out of whoever buys him.

Funnily enough I thought the same, Germany 4 Argentina 0 is hardly the kind of game you'd talk up a Argie defensive midfielder.

In my opinion you only have to see what he's done in a Liverpool shirt to write poetry on him.

Inter may be waiting on moving one out before bidding for Mash. If they can shift Balotelli then that should trigger a move for Mascherano and I thing somewhere between 20 - 25m would do the trick. Its decent money and we can do a lot with that if we are clever in the transfer market. Should we manage to get 25m + i think we will have done exceptionally well.

Cheeky git offering only 20 million (50 million ay Rafa) I think well get 25 million for him and if recent reports suggest Turan and DeFour our available for 10 mill each:

Mascherano plus 1 mill = DeFour, Turan ad Figueroa

Sounds great to me if that one came off Pablo but with the players being linked I'm beginning to question if Roy would go for such players. I suppose we'll see, I still have faith in him though

Rafa can do one if he offers £20m, he's probable using our situation against us now, ironic that he used to work in such circumstances I suppose but nobody knows our financial restraints more than him

@31 he could do a good job as back up to fernando and prob wouldnt mind starting every other game.
he is an experienced quality player who can take a goal.
