People, rafa may suggest the price and the target, but the actual negotiations are between Their director of football and ours. If we accept 20 million we are as much to blame. I believe it would be 25 million, feckin man city is causing a bottleneck, only when balotelli deal is sorted, inter's gonna bid for mash. If we have to sell mash, I'd rather do it quickly so that we can get some players in.

How many years are left on masnh's contract? If I'm not wrong, 2.we don't have as much holding power on mash as we have on Torres. Next year his fee will probably drop to around 13-14

personally, i think Rafa has told Inter all about our situation and encouraged them to get Masch for as little as possible. That's fine, because it's what managers do for their club.

You and I will be doing the same thing... We're not gonna go like aww my previous club needs money we will give them 5 million extra. And I've never heard rafa rate him 50 million. If he did it's probably to hold off other clubs bidding for him. He's never worth 50. 25 Seems about right even though I'd prefer 30.

I would keep him. Play him at the start of the season, and let him sell himself. Increase his value if he performs, let him appreciate what he has if he doesn't. Just because he has said he wants to leave doesn't mean all the cards are in his hands. I have a feeling Roy's experience will play a part here.

Roy's made it pretty clear that, unless we get the right offer, he's going nowhere.

This has gone very quiet. How much has Masch ever said? Is it just agent and press talk all over again? Where are the offers?

I am not particularly bothered either way about Masch. He has never excited me as a player. He is an out and out wrecker and if you like that sort of thing he does it very well. We need him for a few very difficult games against the top teams in Europe and the Prem. Other than that he is a luxury.
