If you are judging him based on his previous experience, ie taking Fulham into the Europa league final, then why the heck are you worried

People will dismiss him mate - it's only natural reaction if they believe he isn't good enough to manage us then they will dismiss him just like people dismiss players we have or will get etc - they will base that on his previous record . You only have to go through threads to see people declaring messiah or words to that effect and then we have a poll where over 30% think we will win title and over 80% think we will be straight back into CL yet what are they basing that on ?

Faith, hope, belief, optimism, passion etc I should think. Is there something wrong with that

So basically we are going to win the title or at least storm back into CL spot because Rafa is no longer our manager ? What happens when the above doesn't happen ?

Look I'm not going to get into this again, and again, and again, and again.

1. He hasn't been the manager of Liverpool for 30 years.
2. He has an excellent record wherever he's been, aside from a second season at Blackburn.
3. If you don't to believe in him, then don't. I personally couldn't give a feck.
4. If you want to take the micky out of the way he speaks, then do.
5. My only request is that those of us who think positively, think he might do a decent job, don't need people constantly trying to drag everyone down into the abyss.

This is one of those Newkit occasions where "so basically" replaces "so what you are saying is".

Ben offers the opinion that people are optimistic because the players won't be hamstrung by Rafa, and that gets turned into us "winning the title or storming back into the Champions League"

I asked a simple question to Ben and you popped in with a little comment so i replied and responded with a question and up you come once again with the tired old bollo.cks

People judge managers and players and what they have seen previously - just because it wasnt at Liverpool doesnt mean it should be dismissed just because its Not at Liverpool .

If 30 years of management with no major trophy is excellent i hate to see what is poor .

Where the f.uck have i tried to drag anyone into any abyss ?

I was responding to someone telling a liverpool fan to go support someone else because they were reserving judgement on the manager .

Or is that ok now ?
