He can kiss the badge and celebrate as wildly as he likes mate, fact is he's a mercenary. He's not the only one at our club either.
He loves the fans and the club when things are going well, then his mind changes like the wind when they're not.
Mascherano was our best outfield player last season, mainly because most seriously underperformed, but as far as I'm concerned if he doesn't want to be here he can fu.ck himself. If an acceptable offer comes in we take it, and if it doesn't then the wee t0sser is under contract so he can earn his wages like everyone else in the working world has to do.
I'm sick of player power these days, I'm becoming more disillusioned with the game every year.
