He can kiss the badge and celebrate as wildly as he likes mate, fact is he's a mercenary.  He's not the only one at our club either.

He loves the fans and the club when things are going well, then his mind changes like the wind when they're not.

Mascherano was our best outfield player last season, mainly because most seriously underperformed, but as far as I'm concerned if he doesn't want to be here he can fu.ck himself.  If an acceptable offer comes in we take it, and if it doesn't then the wee t0sser is under contract so he can earn his wages like everyone else in the working world has to do.

I'm sick of player power these days, I'm becoming more disillusioned with the game every year.

Good post.

I agree, I like Mash as a player I really do but as you say he can do one if his heart is not in it. I don't know what to make of it really it could the simple fact his wife hasn't settled added to the fact he wants to top his piggy bank up. Either way if he wants to go he should be shown the door.

No player or manager is bigger than the club.
Football is a relatively simple game and Roy knows it ;)

As for supporting LFC, I'm sorry but I always got the impression it was Rafa FC you supported.

Well your impression was wrong , because like i say . When i go the Arsenal game .That's where the manager and players will get my full support . When later on in the season and you've got the knobs on here screaming for roy's head if we lose ,that's when you'll see me arguing in Roy's defense , just like i did with the last manager and the manager before him and so on .

If you've looked at my post's regarding the manager .Since his appointment i've said .Whatever happens this season , you CANNOT blame the manager if things go wrong . Roy is fighting a battle against the owners and the board just to try and get some sort of competative squad together . You cannot and should not judge him under these sh!tty circumstances he's found himself in . I argued the same last season to no avail under the previous manger ,but that is the past . If you took offense to my remark about Mascherano then i apologise . It was my opinion and it was not meant as a dig . I will not apologise for my full support of the last manager or for our new one .

That's entirely fair enough Igor.

But you're not silly you knew the Mascha "statement" would flame something though  :shifty

Agreed. Now I know they like to spin things but I was watching SSN at work today and they had some stat up saying our win % was higher without him despite a worse defensive record. Not sure if that was based on last season alone or x years or period.

Hopefully the 2 clubs can come to a deal sooner rather than later.

its not so weird that he was angling for a move to barca last season 'despite his love for rafa' either. he had no idea that rafa would be out this summer and he was getting overtures from spain. he wasn't happy with either the club or life in the uk for whatever reasons and it looked like his best bet for a change. now rafa is at inter and he sees that as his best chance to switch clubs. the fact that a manager he knows and respects is boss there is an added bonus for him.

good post Andy

If it is, I've gone from being an OOT to an OOC and back to an OOT again. There's not many people can say that I wouldn't have thought :D.
