ye great cisse and heskey as backup some of you lot beggar belief. Has beens thats all we want. We need a proper striker like fabiano and why the feck did rafa get rid of crouch. Thats was his biggest mistake because whether on bench or not the guy gives u options

Love the way some dismiss Cisse out of hand but would have Crouch back in a heartbeat. Both weren't good enough for LFC when with us

Crouch is at least a useful player though.
And being English, he will fit the criteria for the new rules.

I´d swop Cisse for Eggnog in a flash. But not as our main striker as he is too single dimension.

Cisse is better than anyone we have outside of Torres.

Players want to play though. Rafa couldn't guarantee Crouch first team football because after Torres' arrival it was clear that we were going to be playing one up front week in week out. Now I rate Crouch but you don't keep players who don't want to be there. Bellamy was a good player aswell but was let go for disciplinary reasons. Hindsight is a wonderful thing and looking back we'd have been lucky to have him for much longer anyway. Talk about loving a move. He's now linked with Spurs having moved to West Ham and Man City in the last three years already.

probaly right now cisse and ngog are probaly similar prices

id prefer cisse anyday

so him in and ngog out is an improvement

i know ngog is young but i cant see him getting better.

i doubt it. we picked up ngog a couple of years ago for 1.5 million, and spent 14 million in cisse 2 or 3 years before that. there is no way ngog has improved enough to be worth more than 3 or 4 and there is no way cisse has come down to less than 7 or 8.
