I think someone started a thread about English goalkeepers in years gone by being generally good. The three they have at the WC do not feel me with confidence. I think James is a good shot stopper and has experience as well, but when the ball is in play and he has it at his feet he looks so un-Reina like, it's awkward. Plus he is prone to a few clangers as well.
As usual re the team, they've been over hyped (yawn) and the knives will be out when they fail. Saying that Heskey upfront, defo should of played Defoe. England don't have a 'natural' finisher in their side (akin to Lineker, Shearer, Owen) and have to rely on the overly rated (yawn) caveman Rooney. Drop Lampard an all and play Carrick or Barry in midfield to free up Gerrard more, the balance between Lampard and Gerrard is wrong and doesn't optimise Gerrard's potential. Give J.Cole a game to, seen as England lack ideas he's a genuine trickster and can muster up a lot more than either SWP or Milner.
