He is a rookie keeper, not tested at all at this level. To be honest we have no decent keepers in England. Chris Kirkland was ok once but he is too injury prone.

Lovely goal by Gerrard but Lennon's showing his usual trouble producing the final ball down the right. The Green howler was shambolic but hopefully he can settle himself and put it behind him (the bad goal, not the ball!

). Either that or Capello hauls him off as quickly as he did with Milner. I think England will push on and win it but another early goal is crucial.

You can be nervous, but you can't try to receive a ball the way Green did if you're a professional keeper FFS. What a mistake!!

Other than that the game I expected, a strong England against a pretty strong USA. USA are dangerous and the last team that beat Spain.

Gerrard and Lampard far from the American box can do the job, but they cannot do as much to harm USA while Heskey is not a player that offers much the way England wants to play.

I expect a close English win.
