A tale of two teams - Away form must improve

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

We will need 2 players on that drogba everytime hes in our area chelseas defence is solid but I think we can break them down. Ill say 1-0 to us on saturdays performance we can beat alot of good teams. I think its all down to self belief and confidence cause we had neither against the mancs.
There is no-one anywhere in the world at any stage who is any bigger or any better than this football club.

With each passing match, Benitez is slowly but surely uncovering the potential of the new Liverpool.
I think we should trust his judgement in players and football tactics. Systems are but systems. To be fair to him, we didn't really lose to Manures because of a zonal system which actually worked in the earlier matches. Our players just lost their balls playing the Manures in the OLD CESSPIT.

Thankfully, he is not like loud-mouthed Mourniho who actually puts his own players under undue pressure. For me, I say stick with the change. Once our players perfected this system, we would surely return to the old successful Liverpool that everyone once feared.

Lvie4pool, it is not so much about the defending system, our defenders are slow and not really naturals at "reading" potential threats, so it is wiser to give them a specific marking job each during set peices to avioid giving away goals easily. That's what I'm saying.

Sami is a good defender, perhaps bodering on greatness on his day but he is no Sol Campbell or Rio Ferdinand (believe me I hate to say this). Carra, in spite of his tremendous efforts, he is not a natural central defender. perhaps he will improve in time.

disagree with that to an extent. he may not have sol's physical presence but he's streets ahead of sol on the ball and when it comes to reading the game. :)

p.s. he's also white :D

taken out of context. i don't mean he's streets ahead because he's white. i'm black for god's sake.

read the quote again.

AB I'm trying hard to take you seriously but comments like this make it really difficult.   :(

Did you even watch the game? The effort we put into the game was pathetic, I couldn't stand watching the game. Man Utd were a wounded animal, our players thought we could shoot them down for good, but that didn't happen now did it?

Oh and I don't take any of your comments seriously. You and I have different perspective of the game.
