Liverpool Football Club - Games

Well that’s certainly winning ugly and walking away with 3 points

Front three just not clicking but good too see Mo score and Lallana getting minutes

Reckon the lads in for a rollicking from Klopp when they get in

Far from a great performance, but getting 3 points away from home after the international break while also resting a few is satisfactory in my book.

In isolation that level is nowhere near good enough to challenge for the title and we will need vast improvement.

Poor passwork, bad decisions, and Fabhino is a niggling worry as to where that 50m fits into this team.

I will sleep well as we won the match however down the road doesnt look so rosy after that.

The issue was one crucial area - the final ball

Up until the final ball the passing was sharp and transitioned through from the back and midfield comfortably but apart from the one ball from Shaqiri the rest of the time the final ball was poor - Mo , Bobby , Shaqiri , etc all guilty of poor execution when a simple final ball would have created a very clear simple chance. Just seemed a bit like being disjointed but I don’t see it being too far away

Yup that has been the problem with us recently. Our final ball is just not on, many times we see a tame pass that is intercepted or even a miss placed pass.

We are playing average and winning ugly a lot recently. How the fck we are joint top is a miracle.
The thing is, you can only ride your luck for so long before it runs out.
Klopp made a lot of changes today which surprised me. We really do need to find our shooting boots soon.

That's not the point though. We should have whipped them 5-0.

City beat Burnley 5-0, we were content with 1-0.

City will win the league, LFC still don't have the killer instinct.

What's with all the negativity guys?  :no

Our best ever start in the Premier League.  :help

Yes, we are having a torrid time upfront but we have to have belief that Mane, Bobby and Salah will begin clicking at some point.

Our defense has only let only 3 goals all season, what a turnaround over the last 12 months!

When we eventually start scoring freely, it will be lights out to any team in England or Europe that play us.

The problem we have is that Keita has taken a while to find his feet and Fabinho has been non-existent the first few months.

Once we either get one of these two playing regularly and Teenage Mutant Oxlande comes back into our side, we will be whipping sides 4 or 5-0 week in week out.

Stop moaning for the sake of it.

I agree with Reg, we are ecstatic with the position we are in but it is evident we've got problems that we need to tweak.

I am confident our mid and att will sync better however We are just not fluid enough when we have the ball. Poor decision making, passes etc..

Ox won't be back till April i think, correct me if in wrong. Also yup Keita and Fabinho are taking time but hopefully will come good.

I think once our attack syncs we will do damage. Maybe we need one of those flawless Maribor type of wins to get the lads mojos back.

This is our best ever start to a Premier League season, yet we're playing average.  That's a sign of a good team...because when we do click (and we will) it's going to scare the sh!te out of our opposition.

Keep the faith, we'll be click up a gear or two in the next few weeks  :nod
