Liverpool Football Club - Games

Anyone know anything about the ref? we will need a strong one as Roma's only chance to compete with our speed is to play physical.

If this is the case then they really have no chance since our players will still be too quick for them. I worried about Roma as I thought they would park the bus and frustrate us which unbelievably they did not do choosing instead to hold a high line, obviously they never watched us play. I think their chance is now gone as they now must attack which should play into our hands. No doubt they will pressure hard for the first 20 minutes but then our quality (and speed) should take over.

It was weird wasn't it? Playing that high line against us was suicidal. I really thought they'd try to replicate Man Utd's performance at Old Trafford but it was exactly the opposite of that. I hope they haven't learned their lesson and have a go at us again and try to beat us at our own game (which is nearly impossible for any team right now). Not that they have much choice now anyway...

They probably will play the high line again as they really have to go gung-ho all out. We will catch them on the counter attack and Bobby and magic Mo will tear them a new ar*ehole.

As long as we keep it tight at the back and Lovren and co do not do anything calamatous, we should be OK.

I'm expecting pressure, but not anything like at Man city the other week.

We've had a few crappy obstacles the last few days prior to our semi. Best response would be a big F You to the obstacles with progression to the final of the champions league.

According to the BBC, Strootman is a doubt but Perrotti (the guy who came on and scored the pen) is definitely out

OK, so not related tho this thread...but I thought I'd post to share just how much i fkin despise Real Madrid. Watching them vs Bayern right now. Cynical bunch of ku.nts. Hate them with a passion.
If we get through to the final I would love nothing more than stopping them winning three in a row.
Here endeth the rant.

Real Madrid were poor tonight, Bayern should've scored a lot more.

Looks like the Mighty Reds v Madrid in the final.

Stay composed and play our own attacking game tomorrow and then give Ronaldo at al a 4 goal spanking...that should do nicely, cant stand the greasy , diving  toerag...

I think Bayern would've been more of a tougher opponent. But with Real they have the experience and for them well it will be like a casual game. Third final for those w#nkers.

The gamesmanship from them was ridiculous, their players spent the last 10 minutes of normal time rolling around on the floor.
