another chance for lads to impress the manager but will rodgers adopt a similar approach to the toronto game and field a different side each half? or will he put out a starting 11 and make a few changes during the game?.
we play roma so we can expect a tougher game but im confident enough we can put on a decent display and get a win.
suso,pacheco and sterling impressed in the 1st game so hopefully rodgers will use them again.the only players we are missing is reina(extended break)and suarez,coates and bellamy are on olympic duty.the rest were due back on monday so we might see an appearance from stevie at some point.
it would be nice to see borini and how he measures up against his former team mates

Rogers has said it may be hard to see any of the boys that just got there during all of pre-season, so any of the 6 English guys and Borini probably won't play tomorrow.  I could see Borini, and maybe Stevie and Carroll getting a few minutes against Spurs just because that's who the fans want to see, but other than that I'm not expecting much.  I somewhat suppose Rogers may send Hendo, Downing, Kelly, maybe Carroll (maybe not for cup-tieing purposes) to play our first Europa fixture since it's so far away.  Probably see the likes of Adam, Enrique, Jones, Gulacsi, Shelvey, Sterling, Morgan, Suso, Spearing, Carra, Flanno, Wilson, Robinson, Cole, Aqua, Ibe, Pacheco, and maybe Skrtel out to play in the away fixture as well.

I know pre season is usually about giving everyone a chance BUT just for once I'd like to see a manager in a pre season friendly (fitness issues excepted) field what he thinks is his first eleven all at once, even if only for half the game.

Will probably never happen  , but still looking forward to the game .

why no Borini?

Watching build up on lfctv so americanised the owner's should change there name to F$$$$$$G. it makes me feel sick. LFC are going to lose there soul with this s.*i*e.we are now just a BRAND like coca cola. Pepsi. Pringles. Nestle etc. Sad times

thought we'd see something that at least resembles a 1st team but going by the team sheet tonight we wont.
we have spurs on saturday so hopefully we will then.this is the best fixture of the tour and will be interesting to see how we fair out in that one.
