Well I'm expecting these lot to do roughly the same as WBA. Soak up the pressure and try to get a goal on counter or something.

Still p1ssed about the WBA result, however lucky for us some of the others are dropping points also.

We've got enough as always to despatch these lot but you never fekin know so you.... We draw here and watch the panic begin lol.

So leeds slaughter WBA 5 fekin 0 and United snap last seconds win Vs Wolves.

Certainly doesn’t reflect too good on us but West Brom probably set up a bit differently against Leeds, they were probably a bit more open. Teams are queuing up behind us good style now though, we’ve got a tricky run of fixtures coming up after this game as well, we’ll be doing well to still be top in 10 games time, 6 of those 10 games are against the likes of Man City, Man United, Spurs, Everton, Leicester and Southampton.
Good thing Thiago is back, you get the sense that this season is about to come to the crunch.

Let’s hope tonight produces better news than last night. We’re a bit all over the place. One minute looking like world beaters and the next looking like we couldn’t beat an egg. We are now under more pressure and we generally react well so we really need to turn up against Newcastle. We’ve lost 9 points so far to some very average opponents. Tonight we need to make sure we don’t gift Newcastle a belated Christmas present.

Minimal creativity in that MF three- the front three will need to be on fire....or Thiago can come on for 45 mins and mash then up for us.

Great to see Thiago back. Hopefully he gets 30 or 20 mins. Also pleased phillips is starting over Williams - he was garbage against WBA

Newcastle are missing a few players so I'm expecting them, as usual, sit back and park the black and white bus.

I think Thiago will only get a few mins towards the end. I'd hope Klopp brings on Ox or Shaq if things are stale by HT.

Crying out for thiago in middle Jones been quiet

HT 0-0 threatening but nbo end results...the boys should get it done in the 2nd half

C'mon we need Ox in there to give us some forward momentum
