All round the fields of Anfield Road
Where once we watched the King Kenny play (and could he play!)
Stevie Heighway on the wing
We had dreams and songs to sing
'Bout the glory, round the Fields of Anfield Road

:D Class DD!

Igor, is that white bib theory because that team seems unbelievable. No Lucas/ Kuyt/ Insua? Carra at LB? No way, unless Insua's injured. Aquilani starting? Possibly. If he's ever going to start a game, this is it. Apart from Carra at LB I'd actually like to see that team. Clearly Babel/ Yossi if fit will play on the right with Gerrard behind Torres but I think a change is needed.

I think we'll win this one by some distance. At least 3-0, we might even get 5. I think we'll see a release of the frustration the players are feeling as they know they're underperforming and they'll finally put a team to the sword. As Owzat says, this MIGHT provide a lift for our forthcoming matches.

I'm quite looking forward to what is a massive week of football!

I just wanna see Aquilani ffs :D

Despite all that pourtsmouth have been through, they arent actually playing bad football at the moment. Its a hard one to call this because it depends which team shows up.. but with Torres i think we can snatch a 1-0 win.

There is no-one anywhere in the world at any stage who is any bigger or any better than this football club.

The likelyhood is that Portsmouth will offer a tough challenge, certainly more than many would expect from a team struggling like they are. The financial problems at the club have created a fighting spirit throughout the squad and this has resulted in improved performances in recent weeks. This Premier League match preview expects Pompey to put a lot of men behind the ball and make themselves difficult to break down. It will probably be a close and unimpressive win for Liverpool.
