na bav throw him straight in there and see how he gets on ( only if skittle can not play )

ayala did very well for the last game but i think villa will attack a hell of a lot more than stoke and he will be under a lot more presure and although i like the thought of a younster coming through i would just like him to play a bit in the lesser games and build his confidence and footballing mind so that he is playing in the right frame of mind, if he played and he cost us a goal i think it would put him back a hell of a long way within his mind just my thinking though??

villa's attack is cr@p. they've scored a big fat 0 goals so far, their midfield is thin and their defense is poo. Stick everyone up front except for the big bubble and squeak and we should hit double figures.

i'll be a bit cautious though, i'll go for 8 - 0 :D

The first goal is the most important so dont agree to start with Ayala, he can always come on as a sub later.

Play the Greek.

The Echo reckons that Kyrgiakos is unlikely to feature so soon after his transfer.  Rafa will decide between risking Skrtel or going with Ayala again.

Are they missing Luke Young or Ashley Young on 'compassionate leave'

Fingers crossed its Ashley.....I also read somewhere that Carew has a virus and should miss the game...can anyone confirm on deny?

Cheers

Give the lad a start. He's earned it.
Bring on Zorba with about 10 mins to go, when we're 5-0 up.

sorry to say it is luke young mate i didn't think of that just saw young and thought it would be ash

but i don't think it will have that much of a difference in the game, i think we will win 3-0 or 3-1, hoping for a clean sheet but any which way so long as we get the 3 points  :buttrock

I´ll laugh my socks off if Soto scores and stands on the halfway line doing a 'Zorba the Greek' style dance !!  :wwww   :bowdown

Sad to hear about Youngs brother but that will surley be a boost to us in terms of the potential for 3 points. We played some great football against Stoke so I think we will be in for a real feast of the same kind tonight. Im sticking with my prediction for 5-0.
My new blog for my upcoming holiday.

As there is no real difference ,training wise ,between Ayala and Zorba ,i would def play the greek ,Ayala has sooo much yet to learn and his confidence is minimal we should play maybe a less trained player but a better player.

If the new lad isn't match-fit i'd prefer it if we didn't risk him. I'd go with the same line-up that started the Stoke game. It looks like a good time to play Villa plus they don't have the greatest of records at Anfield. I expect us to win and I don't really care how we do it.
