The greek defender will have a medical before this game so he will most likely play

Does anyone know if Aquilani is back for this?

a 1-0 will do also. Who cares what the score is, so long as it's 3 points....though lashing up the goal difference in game 3 would be a nice bonus :)

I don't think Aquilani will be ready until late September. Or early October. If he is back before then, then great. But i'd rather he take his time and be fully fit and not get himself injured.

Id put the Greek fella in i wouldnt fancy Ayala against the pace & trickery of Agbonlahoor i could see him getting the runaround i think its unfair to put him into a game like this against an attacking team like villa at such a young age

Gutted its monday i hate it when we dont play till after every1 else but i fancy us to win convincingly

4-0 Torres 2 Yossi Kuyt

they said 4-8 weeks on Aquilani when we signed him 2 weeks ago. I would assume, unless he has run into new complications its now 2-6 weeks

My guess is that he would get a game or two in the reserves before making his first team debut

well I can't wait for this. you all probably know I'm really backing Nando to play out of his skin this season so I'm gonna say 4:0 again with Nando getting 3

just want to make another point as to why have we had to play last on Sunday, on Wednesday after games being on Tuesday and last on Monday? what happened to 3pm KO on a Saturday?
All round the fields of Anfield Road
Where once we watched the King Kenny play (and could he play!)
Stevie Heighway on the wing
We had dreams and songs to sing
'Bout the glory, round the Fields of Anfield Road
