Liverpool V Sevilla - Europa League Final - Wed May 18th

Liverpool Football Club - Games

Postby Thommo's perm » Tue May 17, 2016 11:24 pm

I am absolutely sh'itting myself! Although this is not a make or break final, I feel its so important due to the way we have got here and how the manger is perceived. I am not ashamed to say I wanted out of this competition from the start as it seems to be a waste of time. But what the fu'ck do I know?? I dont believe the result will dictate what happens in the summer, but even if we lose we cant really complain because just getting to the final is nearly as big an accomplishment as leicester winning the league?
I am wary of our ability to be weak defensively and throw leads away, but I have more confidence in our ability to score, and to come from behind if needed. This time tomorrow we will either be victors or losers.
Fingers crossed!

We must win otherwise victories over Mannure, Dortmund and Villareal will be meaningless.

Common red men.

I've got a good feeling about this game. I'm confident we'll have too much for them if we kick off at high tempo.

Liverpool 2 - 0 Seville

Klopp agrees...

I blame the owners. Yanks out.

My office is being kind and understanding. Blank calendar tomorrow, no conferences, no calls. Just my laptop at the desk - if we win my desk will look something like a pharmacy while I battle the night before's demons :D

Got back from the corner shop an hour ago with a couple of dozen beers and two litres of vodka.

I'm p*ssed already   :p

Hope the booze (and me) lasts until kick off   :D

Held a lecture from 08.00-11.00. Had lunch and got drunk. Held another lecture from 12.30 to now. Lets hope they didn't take any notes during the last one.

So stoked for tonight! Lets just hope we play our own game and run them off the park.  :buttrock  :buttrock  :buttrock

I think our best will always beat their best. The only way we lose this match is if players go missing and with Klopp and it being a final etc I cannot see our players not putting in a shift. Our supporters will out number them in the stadium and in the town so it will feel like a home final of sorts.  COME ON  :buttrock  :buttrock

Losing is not an option !!! Maybe our biggest game for nearly a decade give the prize of CL qualification. We also need to play brilliantly. Dortmund, United, more of the same please.
