Liverpool Football Club - Games

Postby ycsatbjywtbiastkamb » Tue Mar 09, 2021 7:58 pm

I’ll be absolutely astonished if we win this tournament given we have scored 2 goals in our last 9 home games and have lost to the likes of Fulham, Brighton and Burnley but I want us to get as far as we can because a good run in the CL will help take the pressure off Jurgen.
Get through tomorrow’s game without a collapse (which isn’t a given the way we are playing) and then we are in the quarters which is respectable.

Heart says we will progress with a 1-1 draw.

Head says Liverpool 0-12 Leipzig.

Mane 4
Firmino 5

Both get fed up of not scoring and decide to score own goals.

I reckon we'll have masses of possession and do bugger all with it, then they'll nip round the back and score then we spend the rest of the game in absolute panic.

I might have 3 large G&T's to dull the pain and go to bed early.

I think Klopp will have this covered. I expect Jota to shine and I think we'll win comfy, 4-0 to us.

I can see the panic time over and we'll kick on from here.

No way can we lose this with a 2 goal advantage. We are supposed to be getting better not worse. If we somehow manage to lose it then there is no hope for them.

We will have the possession but really need to be more confident with it and clinical. Stop overplaying the shyte out of it and just be more direct.

Kabak missed the weekend but I think it's the same kind of injury Phillip's had against Chelsea so he will be 100% fit again for this.

Whatever team takes to that field need to show up like their lives depend on it.  The time for pathetic excuses is over and they need to man up and play with a bit of conviction and pride.

I'm gonna have the 3 large G&T's anyway just in case....

I've started early on the G&Ts, which is why I think we're going to win the tournament. . .

No, I really do believe that.   :Oo:

I think if we concede one we will probably concede a second, we are flaky as eff atm and if they get a goal our @rses will go big time. Not only that Red Bull knowing how fragile we are mentally will be like sharks who have just smelled blood in the water, they will be all over us like a rash.
IMO It’s absolutely critical that we don’t let them get that first goal. We’ve been in 3 European final’s in the last 5 years so we need to use our experience and turn the game into a stop/start non-event.

Don't know who we gonna play in defence but I know that Fabinho needs to be back in midfield.
