2.1 or not and even in the dying seconds there is still no excuse for what Mane did there. Should have put Jota in but greed got in the way.

Not great but it's a win and we are sitting in 4th  :buttrock  c'mon palace  :nod

Thank God for that. Lay down all you want now Villa players, you soft *****.

It wasn't a great performance but I sort of expected to see a game like this. All that matters is the result anyway.

Also, these are the games where you build mentality. This was a very important win and hopefully it will give us the motivation to win the rest as well.

I'm battling a cold and soar throat.  But still screamed the  :D house down when Trent's thunderbolt went in. Great goal.

Talk about an emotional rollercoaster, we never seem to do things the easy way. Showed a lot of heart there though, the way the game panned out our players would have been forgiven for thinking it wasn’t going to be their day but they dug deep and got the win.

Missed the bloody game, but I'm so chuffed that we got the result. Does anybody know where i can watch the game in full? I hate watching highlights

We've won and I'm still fuming. VAR has left the worst taste in the mouth. We need answers on these disgraceful decisions. That's 13 points robbed by VAR this season.. 8 more than any other team.

Not too sure Reg. The front three have hardly been rotated until the arrival of Jota and we haven’t even benefitted greatly from that opportunity due to his injury. Terrible luck with injuries. The pressure of winning the league for the first time in 30 years has certainly taken its toll. So many players have been playing at a level that is so far below their best that it is difficult to recognise who they actually are. Our collapse in form started very soon after we won the league and continued into this season only to be exacerbated by the most ridiculous run of injuries. Now having said all that I still think that FSG’s miserly effort in the summer 2019 transfer market after winning the CL has played a massive contribution.

Better performance yesterday and let’s hope we can go all out for a CL place and give Real Madrid a stuffing on Wednesday !!

Although age wise a lot of our players should be slap-bang in the middle of late their 20’s footballing prime Jurgen’s style of play is so demanding that some of them have probably aged prematurely.
Even if Virgil and Joe etc come back as good as new I don’t think our front line is good enough anymore to fire us to another title, as it stands City are 22 points ahead of us and are going to kick on again in the summer when they buy a replacement for the departing Aguero (which looks like being either Haarland or Kane).
Edwards has got his work cut out this summer to find reasonably priced players that can bridge that type of gap.

This is the time when Klopp and the club owners need to slag off VAR and the corrupt tw*t that spent ages deliberately looking to chalk off a legitimate Liverpool goal .....things will never change if you shrug your shoulders because you got the 3 points anyway....moaning about VAR when you lose is just perceived as sour grapes....

VAR is killing the game....that Is "clear and obvious"
