That was a true example of the dirty, disgusting side of football. I'm just glad we don't have to deal with that again for a while. If that's the nonsense we can get used to seeing in the world cup next, then congratulations Qatar, 2020 World Cup champions!

There is a reason the champ league winners doesn't win this every year. It's much more scrappy and dirty compared to european fotball.
You just have to mentally prepare for these games.

I have to watch this on Bein Sports, a Qatar company and listen to Richard Keyes saying there was no contact and the ref was really brave changing the decision. Of course they would never criticise a Qatari not when the Qataris pay their salary.

Another title to our name. First time in our history as well. Don't think much of it personally but happy that we won it :buttrock

Also, I'll never say ill of a Premier League referee again. Worst game by an official I've seen on such a "high" level, if it is a high level as FIFA says it is. Had to chuckle at Hendo's comments at the end, you could clearly see he wanted to say something about the ref but decided not to.

Anyway, no rest for us. Next up, Leicester away.
