New lads looked decent second half but we have a host of problems at the back really. Maybe games like today will convince the club to invest in a centre half and a left back now. We certainly over played the long ball to Carroll who needs to stay on his feet a bit more as well. Henderson, Downing and Adam I felt all looked promising despite the score line. No one likes to see their club lose so even a friendly defeat is a slight dissapoinment.

In the first half yes. 2nd half was better but you can see clearly that the new signings need some time to adjust/get used to each other.

We need to win these "friendlies" period. Was it 3 seasons ago where we lost repeatedly in preseason and then were total bo--ox at the start of the season?

Winnning becomes a HABIT and so does losing..
