Liverpool Football Club - Games

Our lack of width is rendering Carroll ineffective, it absolutely needs addressed this summer

For all the touches Dirk's had he's been pretty ineffective as well

Yep, that's the one, Conor Coady.

Yeah, refs are kind of on their side. It's been obvious since that offside decision with Spearing.

Good goal by Coady.  Well done by Wisdom in the back and Carroll had an easy decision to make.

Ah, right, I remember this guy, think he was the captain of our academy, considered to be the next Carragher... so what's he doing in midfield then? Isn't he a defender?

Think he always plays in midfield for the Reserves, and England U-whatevers.  Just good to see the lads in action again.

I won't celebrate Rafa going........ but I will be over the moon if Dalglish comes in. League within 2 years if he gets the job, AND YOU CAN QUOTE ME ON THAT.

In shocking fashion.  Allowing two goals in the final two minutes.  Soto and Agger mostly at fault.  Anyway, like I said earlier.  Good to see the team back in action and a 4-3 win with a scoreline that flatters the hosts isn't a bad way to start the pre-season.

Good goal by Carroll.  Well done by Charlie to get in that tackle.

End there was horrible tho letting 2 goals in 2 minutes in.  Need to get rid of that garbage.

analysing errors in defence is completely pointless after the first game of the season. i enjoyed the match which is more than can be said for the pre-season dross last season.

agreed, I said above we need a decent pre-season under our belts and a win is the way to start

I thought Wisdom was at fault for the first of the two, got dragged in towards the ball and left loads of space behind him
