I really like Mitoma. Surprised he's still at Brighton. I can see him stuffing it on the wing.
No surprise that Konate picks up another silly yellow, daft and unnecessary challenge.

It was a yellow but considering Gomez got away with the studs on Wirtz it was a bit harsh.

Konate is daft and unnecessary in general this season.

Was just thinking, RB has been an utter sh!tshow this season. Gomez starts there and goes off injured. Then Szobo drops in, he gets injured. Now it's Jones there. Meanwhile the two lads made of glass are still injured. If and when Frimpong comes back, he'd better deliver. And it's about time Bradley played more than two games before going off injured for months again

Il take that. 2.0 and a clean sheet.  Can't help but feel we gave up a lot of chances that could have changed the game though.
Probably the best I've ever seen Jones play. Szob has a serious engine on him and Wirtz was pretty good also. Mom goes to Hugo for his 2 goals.

Great results this week against Inter and Brighton. Really should have won at Leeds as well. Yes Mo’s comments were somewhat petulant to say the least. However the ***** that was written on social media and in the press was so over the top it was feckin unbelievable  :help  Carragher’s comments were idiotic considering his own disgusting behaviour aimed at a Man United fan and frankly he should have been sacked regardless of the provocation. Only a grovelling apology saved him. So fed up with listening to the bile that Carragher and that prat Neville spout on Sky.

Well done Reds. KEEP IT GOING !!

Good luck at the AFCON Mo.

Make you think had we converted some of those lost point we'd be up there. Thought we did well but Brighton also missed few chances. Jones played well. 2nd half I think they were slightly better. Been a good week let's keep this going.

Good result and another clean sheet. Injuries are a worry, hopefully they are not too bad.

Yeah hopefully. Etitike was limping a bit, Szob looked like he rolled something at one point, Mc Allister landed heavy after a challenge and Wirtz got studs to the chest. Its in the hours after when the adrenaline wears off and pain kicks in. We have a week till spuds so with any luck all will be good.

Feel sorry for Joe as well. Struggling to maintain a decent run injury free..

The 39-year-old came on as a late substitute during Brighton's 2-0 loss to Liverpool on Saturday, and took to social media after the game, writing: "Disappointing result but happy to be back out on the pitch and a special moment to play at Anfield wearing the 20. A massive thank you for the incredible welcome from the Anfield crowd. YNWA."
