watched it , i thought we  played really well , looked a lot more solid at the back too. I thought Insua was class , never put a foot wrong, wat a player he will be . :nod

just got in. jesus it was bloody freezing :sniffle

anyway, thought we were the better side in possession but once again lacked a cutting edge for the majority. having said that i thought villa were dire considering they're a potential top 4 side aswell and they were at home. they were just hoofing the ball long for the majority of the game, completely bypassing the midfield and relying on set pieces.

it just reaffirms that whilst we aren't playing well, when you've got torres and gerrard in your team you've always got a chance. those two are better than anything that man city, villa or spurs can offer.

evening all...first time back on here since before Christmas....and I hope you all had a very nice time of it too....
I have to say, I am major surprised we got 6 points over the past week....and tonight, I thought it was looking like a single point away from home. but I'll take a lucky bounce in our favour any night. I still don't think we were terribly convincing though, and the more Villa hoofed it skyward, the more nervy I got. but fair dues to the back four...
any early news on Johnson yet ?
