Rafa Benitez: "The manager has to have confidence in his team. I'm really surprised by the comments about me saying we will finish in the top four. I have to believe in the players. Listen, you have to do it like this, because I am the manager. You keep asking me, and I will keep answering in the same way."

Hopefully we've turned the longest corner in recent history.

Good to see Rafa make a positive sub an all.

Stu Averill, a wannabe Scouse/Scot. I remember the good times & have faith in them comin back

Beside the Hillsborough Flame, I heard a Koppite mournin, "Why so many taken on that day?" Justice has never been done. But their memory we'll carry on. There'll be Glory Round The Fields Of Anfield Road

We are quite capable of going on an unbeaten run, Chelsea have lost a few players to the African Nations, the Mancs one man team Rooney injured or sent off for 3 games you never know, Arsenal Fabregas out for about 4 weeks.

Win our next 18 games, finish on 87 points, who knows it might be enough.

In fairness to Rafa mate we won becuase the ball ricoched about four times out of a three man pile up and inexplicably found itself at Torres's feet with 60 seconds to go.

I wouldn't be using it as any vindication or condemnation of any system we were employing at the time. Not saying you're necessarily wrong about Benayoun, but I don't think it had an effect in this case.

:censored: sake mate there is no pleasing you is there. I bet if he had scored 5 tonight you would be saying well in fairness it was Torres who scored not Rafa.   :D
