aston villa v LIVERPOOL Sun 4th Oct 7.15pm KO

Liverpool Football Club - Games

City have given us an opportunity to open up a 5 point gap after just 4 games but we have our own issue’s with Coronavirus so this is one of those where we just have to dig out the win, don’t care how we do it just get the 3 points. Btw today’s the 3rd and the premier doesn’t resume again until the 17th so if we could win City will have a horrible 2 weeks.

Interested to see the line up for this one with Sadio unavailable. I really don't trust Origi. Hoping he goes with Jota instead from the start. Minamino just doesn't convince me I have to say.

Jota will start he more or less plays where Mane does.

Mane will be missed but we should have enough to get past these lot and bring home 3 points. Villa have been playing decent so expect a gritty encounter.

In fact I’m saying we have a chance to open up a 5 point gap on City it’s actually 8, although City have a game in hand there’s no guarantee that they’ll win it, I’m assuming they will, but I also assumed they were going to beat Leicester and Leeds at home as well.
If we beat Villa tomorrow City are 8 points behind with a game in hand. Even after 3 or 4 games City would be playing with the sword of Damocles over their heads and as we all know pressure does funny things to football teams.

I guess it depends on how Jota is played, a direct replacement for Sadio out on the left or as a roving central striker. Was he left sided at Wolves, what's his natural role? Regardless, 3 points are a must tonight... we have to keep up with the Bitters!

If we do what we do then Villa should not be a problem.

Villa were kinda tough for us last season and right now they're actually in solid form. Also considering we have a few key players missing, this could actually be a tough match.
