arsenal v LIVERPOOL Sun 16th 4.00pm F.A Cup

Liverpool Football Club - Games

Postby woof woof ! » Sun Feb 16, 2014 5:58 pm

First 5 minutes looked like we'd carried our form from the last meeting into this one, Sturridge had two great chances to put us in front, have hardly seen him since then and we allowed Arsenal to get into the game.

webb not doing us any favors again. a couple missed corners have gave as free kicks, and I'm still trying to figure out how that podolski foul wasn't a yellow when every other touch of anybody has been given a yellow.

Coutinho is absolutely anonymous and Allen isn't much better, so they need to get in the game for us to turn this around.

Coutinho hasn't been at the races today. Would give him another 15 mins and then sub him if things don't improve.

we need to diversify a little bit in front of their goal and let rip instead of looking for killer passes.
we are struggling with chamberlains pace on the counter and the defence needs to get to grips with that octopus.
win this and we face the bitters in the next round.
we are very much still in this

Our opponents have a knack for making unnecessary penalties lately. Clear pen but also surprised that Webb gave it :D.

What happens if we draw? Rematch at Anfield?

FFS Sturrdige !

think it'll be a rematch. But if we get another then we'll win it...Arsenal are on the back foot

the second pen was as clear as they come… shocking webb hasn't given that. He's standing feet away and can clearly see Suarez bundled straight through… Absolutely shocking decision to not give a pen there, and at web's standards easily a yellow as well.

Probably deserved a draw. Ah well, the league title will have to do for this season.

Webb robbed us from a clear cut Pen. And Danny boy found the day to wear his kicking boots upside down ,terrible day for the lad.
Shame we were worth a win today.
