I'm sorry mate but if Benny is involved it will be a lot of whinging, moaning, begging and above all downright fkg depressing! I have been on a one man crusade trying to get Benny (show me the money) to shut up or fk off. I have no preference which he decides to do.He recently took a three month sabbatical (possible imposed by the mods). Personally I wish he would take another so that peace and goodwill to all men can be restored

One man crusade

Is that what you call you clueless ramblings.

It's people like you that hold the club back - people that can't drag themselves away from "history" in regards the club. People stuck in the 60's dribbling into their breakfast going on about how we will be back because we are "Liverpool" yet can't see how pathetic that is and how it's now 22 f*cking pathetic years without the title and it will be another 22 years before we win the next one.

Maybe one day you might wake up and realise what is going on in the prem but I doubt it. Too busy with your hands over your ears ignoring the realism of the situation

Nope stayed right till the end whilst others around me where leaving.

Calling me an "attendee" just avoids the issues you cant face and have no answers too.

My "support" has nothing to do with the debate at hand.

I want me club to win and not just compete for a Europa Slot - i want that badly and have done for decades now - i think that shows i want more for my club than you.  Not content with mediocre finishes and wanting more. Do you not want more for the club ? Have you figured out a way to get it without spending big money yet ?

how is this cringeworthy thread still going?

Our club is finally showing signs of promise and here's folk saying it's all a waste of time  :no

Wahoo let the celebrations commence - we have seen promise ! We have reached the dizzy heights of 6th with only the 30 odd points away from the team that is going to win the title.

We are light years away from being anywhere close to the top teams. We are not even anywhere near where Rafa got us. This time next year when we are no closer the same people that demanded Kennt was sacked will then be calling for the head of BR.

Lose Suarez and then it's right back to square one - spend millions to get players of his standard and we might get to keep him for longer.

We are an also ran mediocre club now and the expectations have been well and truly lowered by owners who don't have a clue about the sport and are trying to do it all on the cheap.

How do you know we'll be no closer in 12 months time? Where's the time and patience you preached to everyone when Kenny was here?

The team has improved greatly this season and the football is leagues better than the stuff Kenny had us playing.

I fully expect us to finish in the top 5 and that's an improvement, with some impressive players showing signs that we've turned a corner.  You can play your Eeyore card all you like, but you're in a small minority of folk who think things are no better

BR is the right man for the job and he's doing alright in my book

Improved greatly ? Really - I think we are around 3 points better off in the league - out of every single cup comp with a very slim distant chance of getting into Europe.

Yep massively improved on last season haven't we.

Time and paitence is something you couldn't give a legend like Kenny at the club so don't even start to preach on to anyone about paitence.

Try telling that to the fukwit aka Benny !!!! It is obvious to a a five year of of below average intelligence that if you throw enough money at a football club you increase the chances of success. That is an undisputable simplistic fact. Everton, however, who survive on a shoe string are still in with a chance (hopefully remote) of finishing in the top four and have been playing a standard of football this season that even the most dedicated red couldn't fail to be impressed with. Moyes has probably cocked things up by not committing to a new contract. There has been a downturn in form which is probably going to destroy what was looking like an impressive season AND IT CERTAINLY WASN'T ACHIEVED BY CHASING CAP IN HAND AFTER A SPEND HAPPY BILLIONAIRE !!

That's my final contribution to this thread. There is little point for further discussion given the pathetic single minded attitude of the likes of Benny who seems happy for us to become just another shi.tty soulless football club. I don't and never will subscribe to prostituting LFC to the likes of Roman Abramovich.

You’re a walking, talking contradiction Benny.  You slated everyone on here for questioning Kenny after 14 month, yet here you’re laying into BR after just 7 months.
Kenny was never the long term answer and everyone knew it deep down. The football was one dimensional, the tactics out of date and the transfers were the worst in living memory.  It wasn’t working and Kenny would have been the first to admit it.

BR has made mistakes, for sure, but he’s made some major improvements and there’s real signs that his vision is taking shape.  OK, we’re out of the cups, but the football is improving all the time and we’ve got some cracking young players here too.

I fully expect us to challenge for the top 4 next season, no question.

the irony of it all is spending billions doesn't give you instant sucess. Ask Rafa

It's not just getting into the top 4 you f*cking clown - is that the height of your ambition for the club !

What about winning titles - have you come up with a way to do it yet without spending a lot of money ?

You fail to see the difference in having a decent season and making the step up to winning the title - you fail to understand what is needed to make that step up.

You satisfy yourself with not winning - i want better and more for the club. You seem to not want that and would rather just settle for second best ( in fact nowhere near even second ).

The reduction in expectations in this once great club is pathetic - and it's led by pathetic dreamers who haven't got a f*cking clue about how to win titles in modern football

If we want to win the title then we must massively improve our squad - to do that requires a great deal of funding. Funding that our owners will never do from their own pockets.
