They won't do for much longer, especially with Houllier incharge, he does like to spend.  :D

Since last summer rafa has showed no confidence in him.  remember after the Super Cup Final when Cisse came on and changed the game.  Rafa was asked will Cisse be at liverpool?  rafa respondes with "Maybe we will get more bids for him"  live on TV!!

Also if you noticed this season when ever crouch or mori scored golas rafa would come out and praise them.  when did he ever do this regarding cisse??  i can't remember on time!

Cisse want to leave but it all depends on Lyon.  if they don't come up with the money then where is cisse gonna go?

Oh and 24 in 78 games!  how many of them games were starts?  how many of them games was he on the RW?

this season hasnt cisse got 19 in 24 starts!  tell me if crouch or mori done better..

crouch's stats are much much worse.. lol

exactly. I mean everyone is criticisng Cisse, saying he is not good enough for Liverpool.

Crouch for sure is definitely not good enough for Liverpool F.C, never has been and never will be. This :censored: about him holding the ball up and winning headers is just a pile of :censored:
Fowler was good enough for LFC however he is too old now. I think Cisse was our best forward this year, keep him!

That so?  Well, we'll just have to see won't we?

If you're right, then selling Cisse will be a huge mistake for Rafa and that will show in our (poor) results next year.

If the rest of us are right--that Crouch brings SO MUCH MORE to the team than Cisse and that Robbie is a class finisher that has more skill at 31 than Cisse could dream of having--then we'll be just fine without Cisse.

Let's just see how things pan out for Liverpool next season without Cisse, shall we?

If Liverpool tanks you can come back on here and crow about it.  In fact, I think you'd quite enjoy that since your clearly a Cisse fan rather than a Liverpool fan--after all, you only come on here to defend Cisse and moan about Crouch.

I suspect, however, that we won't be hearing from you again.  Liverpool will do just fine without Djibs and you'll be off in pastures new, supporting Lyon, Marseille, Portsmouth, or wherever the feck this waster ends up.

I am a Liverpool F.C. fan and have been all my life. However I also know about football, Cisse is our 2nd top goal scorer this season and has only played half the time, and most of that time on the RW. I want him to stay because I think he can prove his worth even more next season.

There hardly the only 2 decent strikers in the world.

And why on earth would he consider replacing them with poor players  ???

Of course 2 quality strikers will come in, he will have at least one wrapped up already.

When Owen first appeared on the scene he was often critisised for being one footed and being poor in the air. He obviously worked hard on those weaknesses in his game and became a much better player. Cisse unfortunately doesnt seem to give the impression that he would be willing to work hard to improve his game. Incredible pace and a fierce shot may be good enough for the French league but without a good first touch, anticipation and a footballing brain is not good enough for EPL. After supercup final I wanted him to stay but now I feel he must go.

Anyone who slagged Owen off when he first came through was a clueless arsewhole. One of the best players i've ever seen.

You either have it or you don't. Owen has it, Cisse doesn't.

Well it looks like Cisse’s time at Liverpool is coming closer and closer to an end. He came with big hope, 14 Mil was an awful lot to spend on a player from France who hadn’t proved it in international football or on the European stage, but he came with rave reviews and many got swept up in it.

Without blowing my own trumpet, when I first saw him in that Champions League qualifier against Graz, I knew something wasn’t right then, you can usually tell through one match when a player isn’t worth 14 Mil, he didn’t exhibit any qualities to suggest he was worth that sort of cash. After about 6 games I had come to the conclusion that we had been absolutely ripped off, a player who not only showed he couldn’t the basics right, but kept doing the wrong things again and again, he didn’t seem to learn anything.

I hope he can take something away from his 2 years here and it can make him a better player, he has been under the guidance of a very good tactical and technical manager and has played at the highest level with a high standard of players. If I was him I would love to move to Lyon, he gets to go to the best team in his home country, play first team football at a team that does well in the Champions League, he will score goals back in France, but that doesn’t mean he is good enough to play at the top level.

Hopefully we will get a reasonable amount of money back for him, 7Mil would probably be the minimum we are looking for but I’m guessing were hoping for something closer to 10 Mil. Once this happens this money can go towards bringing in a much better striker. Things are looking good so far, the failures are leaving and were looking at new players.

Nope, of course I wasn't serious. I'd like to sign Kuyt and Darren Bent.

what does my head in is the people who keep banging the "well he's been played out of position" drum. the fact is, when he's played upfront, has he shown any of the qualities required to be an lfc centre forward?

Owen had, he doesn't anymore. Too much time either sitting on the bench or being on the treatment table. Still he's a bigger threat than Cisse will ever be.
