Best case scenario for Danny is to get him playing towards the end of this season to increase his sale value.

I'd sell Benteke along with Danny. What deadly strike package

Add Mario to those 2 are we can offer a triple discount on all 3

Buy two get one free !    :D

Or even buy one and get two free

Klopp will be patient with him. He didn't have Gundogan for 15 months and people fapp over him and want him in our team. He is the best finisher in the EPL and an integral part of our team.

Better to get him fit and ready now for next season as we are little to no chance of top 4 this year.

I would get some top psychologists in to examine the lad and try and work out what sort of mental issues he is going through.

If it turns out that they are debilitating his playing career (as suspected), we should all leave him be and let him try to get his life in order first before putting pressure on him to come back at all.

It's completely unfair to pin our hopes on him returning within any given time frame.

Best we move past the whole financial stuff and just take a hit by getting some quality strikers into the club.

Looks like he's back training hard and should be available for selection soon. I hope he can put a successful run of games together as I'm losing faith in him and his fitness.

Unfortunately, I'm convinced he won't complete a full 90 minutes for us again this season.

Stories floating about he wants out in the summer as he's not happy with the 'criticism'  he has received over his fitness/training issues.

If true, typical modern day footballer. Rather than using it to spur him on and show he can sort out his issues,  he wants out instead.

Feck'im I really don't care, he's worthless sitting on the bench. At least Benteke is worthless on the pitch.

He'll receive the same criticism anywhere he goes if the issue persists. A new start elsewhere won't change that. He's be greeted with optimism and when that fades he'll get the same sh!t.

I do think it's partly a mentality issue rather than a physical one. I'm sure there'll be a Chinese club willing to fork out given their recent purchases

If there's the slightest  hint of truth in these stories after all the patience Liverpool fans have afforded him ,then its absolutely galling. Best of British if he honestly believes he will receive a greater degree of tolerance anywhere else ! If anything he should be striving to return to action because of the support he's received whilst the clubs forbearance has been viewed as ridiculous through the media.

Who cares anymore?
LFC the club, the institution, its foundation and legacy. That's all I care about.

I've not read anything with quotes from Sturridge or links to anything saying anything like this. Has anyone else read anything with any substance?
