It's a sad state of affairs when a team with the stature of Liverpool lose out on a quality player like Boumsong to a team like Glasgow Rangers who can offer him better terms than Liverpool even though they are £60m in debt themselves.

i have to agree with matrix 2 its a disgrace that liverpool can lose out to rangers for boomsong, but when a player demands 45k a week you must draw the line somewhere, my guess is houllier will now go for phillip mexes who is better than boomsong.
