Torres ideal partner? - 10-12mill tops

David Villa would be just perfect in my view, it'd be nice if we could 'do another Torres', go out spend the money £20m or there abouts on real quality.

Valencia are in a bit of a mire at the minute, and £20m goes a long way in Spain.

I think he'd be a feasible signing, should we have the funds available.

Whether or not we'd also have enough to sort a left winger and a left-back, I don't know. We'd surely be looking to offload a few quids worth if we went down this route.

Only problem with Villa is that Drogba will leave Chelsea so we would have to compete with Chelsea who I'm pretty sure will spend big again.

I think Villa would prefer to join us than Chelsea, and I'm not so sure Drogba will leave.

I think we'll have as good an opportunity as we will ever have to get the lad in the summer.

Drogba will go wherever Mourinho goes. Drogba is a brilliant player but he won't stop telling newspapers that he is leaving in the Northern Summer.

We need someone who can score goals, but is clever and has vision enough that he will possibly increase the number of goals Torres scores. I think we should go all out for Berbatov, we can throw in one or two players as part of the deal. Berbatov, spudz and their fans can say what they like but Berbatov will want more than he's got so far at spudz and is bound to jump at the chance of winning more trophies and a shot at the Champions League. Their Carling Cup win was long overdue, I guessed they would win as they hadn't won anything since the late nineties and before that 1991 was it? Still it's more than the supposed "big club" that is the bitters have managed, although they will probably boast to have been in the Champions League if in a squabble with spudz over who is the bigger club
Never buy from PC World, product quality is poor and their 'customer service' is even poorer

if we continue to play the 4-2-3-1, someone like Frank Ribry or Samir Nasri would be ideal.

He's a fantastic player but am not sure he's what we really need.
Too similar to Torres in that he likes to play off the shoulder of the defender... don't you think? Granted, I don't see too much of the lad, but that was his style of play the last few times I've seen him.

Maybe someone who's a little more creative and is capable of more in terms of assists would be a better choice.
Or even perhaps a huge monster of a striker to play off. Torres would have more time off the ball and perhaps a little less close/physical attention.

I know were going on about A partner for Torres here but just to go off subject for a mo i was havin a bit of a disscusion last night with the lad next door anyway he ended up talkin about Ronaldinho and how hes fallen foul of Riikaard and goin on the :censored: all the time. I still rate him as a player you cant loose the talent that he had in a season. The lad next door is a Chelsea supporter and reckons he will leave Barca at the end of the season but because hes on a downer he wouldnt want him a Chelsea . Well i might sound off my head sayin this but if the price was right i would be made up to have him here,
