Luca toni to partner torres?

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

According to the Sky Toni will be available from January for free : http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11661_5790205,00.html

I actually fancy him playing for Liverpool as a short term solution.

I always liked Luca Toni, I used to watch him for Fiorentina. Lots of speculation so i guess i'll wait and see but either Toni or Ruud Van is fine with me as a cheap option up front

Forwards clearly aren't our problem. It's midfield. We need - Alonso like replacement and beeter wingers

I don't know what age he is, but for what I have seen of him, I like him for short, mid, and long term solution.

He's a pure 9, he'd do the role of Ngog, but with the quality required for this club.

I think it is more of a case of whether the 11 on Saturday wanted to play for the manager.

I also think its a case of was the 11 on the pitch ABLE to play to Liverpools standard? Players like Kuyt, Dossena, Lucas and Insua simply arent good enough. Luca Toni is a strong presence up front. It will be like having Heskey again but actually able to score goals. I like the thought of someone able to flick a ball onto Torres. We lack arial ablility up front
The devil on the badge represents the equality of manchester united with satan and his many demoish minions downstairs. just like the many twisted devil worshipers accross the world it means you have to posess the same sick minded mentality to follow that pathetic excuse for a football team.

I would have said 1-11 were not exactly playing brilliantly at the moment. Never hurts to have striking options, who other than Torres looks like scoring? And when Torres isn't fit or available, who steps into the breach?
Never buy from PC World, product quality is poor and their 'customer service' is even poorer
