Same old story - Missed chances

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

the portsmouth game just about sums up our season. scoring early and then failing to kill teams off when we have the chances. inevitably we then sit back concede a goal on the break. until we find our cutting edge we are going to struggle. portsmouth should have been dead and buried. i still think we should beat them in the replay if we are just a bit more clinical. oh yeah and kewell should be dropped.

Pongolle should start in the replay in place of Ivanhoe

i've been saying that all season. we should win the replay if we're just a bit more clinical in front of goal.

Playing two up front would be an idea

id agree with tha team but id put le tallec in there in stead of cheyrou.did houllier ever think of putting risse in attacking midfielder cus he pretty good going forward. He creates more than one on a good day.

i think riise's fallen out of favour this season. le tallec for cheyrou yeah maybe although neither are wide players. the problem is that kewell is the only out and out wide man we've got.

                                   Owen          Diouf

Pls do not laugh. But i think this should be the team. Diouf should be playing central striker. Murphy should be in the team cos he will put in a few decent corners. Riise should play instead of kewell for a few games until kewell recovers fully from his ankle injury. Kewell has really been poor for the past few games. If he continues like this, the fans will turn on him.
