also think its time that we make the split for the Roy thread.....i mean yes talk about Roy on here but dont use it to also pot about how the players are letting us down, in fact in the last two game that we got beat they have been the main points of the game.
not Roy.

Didnt he turn us down this summer? I think he would be a good choice, but if he comes at all it probably means Roy will stay on until the summer.

Sadly I don't think we can afford to wait.
The way things are going we will finish mid table at best  :(
This is one of the most important seasons in our history and we cant afford to sit back in a daze and watch it drift away into mediocrity
Spurs and City will be further away and it will take years to claw it back (if we ever do)

Deschamps had a brilliant season in 2009/10 but his overall record is  not exciting and he is not actually managing at top EPL and that is what we aspire to. He left two previous clubs that he managed due to disagreements with the directors and that usually means one thing.

His away record so far this season is 3-3-3. Some of the posters on this forum would probably demand that he was sacked with that performance!

Lets not forget where we are improving from though , we were second from bottom a couple of weeks ago .So we did need to play better or we were in the :censored: . Lets just see how we get on in the away games hey ,because they are the games that are knocking us back a step when we seem to be taking one forward at home . Don't let what the manager say's dampen your expectations ,because we should expect to be challenging and we should expect to be making atleast fourth in this poor league this year . Managers have been sacked for not meeting expectations , Roy should be no different , we are not fulham .

Sorry to quote myeslf , but f.uckin this ^^^^^^

There are people that are/were prepared to give the man a chance but i dont know anyone that was delighted with the appointment.

Hope your happy Purslow !!!!

Funny we havent seen sight nor sound of you while weve been winning, but here you are back after a loss. Coincidence?
Welcome back anyway babes
You criticise his gestures. Maybe he should look at his watch? Or write on a piece of paper? Or scream at the 4th official? Ot flap his arms like a t'it? That would make him look like he had a clue wouldnt it?
People moaned that Hodson was negative and his tactics were too defencive and spineless. What I saw last night was an attacking formation which pressed and went forward time after time and could, in reality, have won the match outright.
People complained because Hodgson left Torres isolated, so he went 4-4-2 to accomodate him. But guess what? El fu'ckin no-no is not doing the job he is highly paid to do. Whether its confidence, attitude or hes lost it we dont know, what we do know hough is hes playing absolutely sh'ite. The chances he would have put away in his sleep are now catching up on him and making him into a non-threat. He either needs to shape up or ship out.
Roy must take the blame for one thing however and that is the dross that is Konchesky. The man is dogsh'ite. Totally inept and clueless as a defender. It must be soul destroying playing alongside him, just waiting for the inevitable co'ck up. Fu'ck him off and get a proper left back in asafp.
The rest of the team were good to average but Johnson sticks out for me as the person with the most talent who is pi'ssing it up the wall. He has undoubted skill but what a lazy sh'ithouse. He needs a Fu*king good slap across the face and told to liven himself up.
Overall I thought we played well and although the history books will show a 3-1 defeat there was an undoubted feeling for me that newcastle only won because of their determination and positive attitude rather than their dominance or ability

Agreed, maybe one or 2 people were delighted, but the general mood was that most of us were skeptical but prepared to give him a chance.

I don't think its working out, so he should go in Jan or in the summer, sorry he isn't good enough

Could you have seen the mancs, Chelsea or Arsenal trawling the top European talent for their next manager finally deciding on Roy Hodgson from Fulham as their next manager?

No bleedin chance.

I couldn't believe it in the summer and I still don't fucking believe it now.

He's up there with managerial journeymen like Alan Pardew, Alan Curbishley, Peter Reid, Sam Allardyce and Gordon Strachan.  All would not be given a top job at a club that inspires to win things, he is part of the G & H era and he needs removing immediatly.

you do confuse me at times you know.

There is no love in.

Everyone is as annoyed and disappointed by the results as you are.
But we wont resort to insulting him that's all.

I agree he does look out of his depth and if we can bring someone in that is better then i am all for it.
