His one touch passing was a thing of beauty last night. If all the team had the ability to play first time balls we'd be onto a winner.

Hes starting to show glimpses but its been a slow burner lets face it.

Think theres a lot of people on social media paid to put a positive slant on the club and players and whilst he did alright last night it was massively over blown.

We paid good money for him and he needs to bring his tricks pretty much every game and start putting chances in, it may sound tough for a lad in a new enviroment but its a high pay profession and weve carried enough passengers over the years.

Firmino has ability but its not easy playing for us and he will need to have a lot about him to succeed, lets hope last night was a small step forward in a glittering career for him at Anfield.

Class act ,and his little flicked nutmeg conjured up memories of Luis ,genuinely excited about  the level he can attain under Klopp .

The start to his Liverpool career was a strange one.

He was allowed extra time off than most, came back to preseason late, and his match fitness was not up to it. Substitute cameo's were the start of it and it's very hard to get a feel for the game.

Not making excuses, but he wasn't gifted a starting birth like most other teams big money players.

Since I first saw him in a Liverpool shirt I’ve been pretty convinced he’ll be good for us. He’s got the lot but he’s barely played for us (and certainly not in his best position) and people have been writing him off. All he needs is a few starts in a row in a central position behind the striker and he’ll grow game by game and become one of our best players.

Hard to argue this.

He looked ok playing striker but the minute he played behind Benteke he looked better.

Almost growing into a must start player.

Love this guy. He probably probably plays with more flair and vision than every other player in the side (Coutinho included) and the only thing stopping him from exploding into a top top player is the fact he seems a bit reserved. Can see him being a confidence player who goes through great patches but wont produce the numbers hes capable of regularly. If he had the drive of Suarez or the selfishness of Sturridge he'd be a much more effective player imo. Still, cant wait for him to settle and start combining more with Coutinho, Benteke, and Sturridge.

If every player in the Liverpool team could pass the ball as crisply as the above ,Klopp would have some team.

Agreed, he seems so laid back on the ball, one thing about him if he plays a ball that doesn't find the man he chases the ball and tries to get it back. Really happy with his progression in our team now. Can see him being a Klopp favourite, and a Kop favourite.

The lad can be a top player for us and I hope that it's not before long that we finally start to play him in his natural position behind the striker(s).

He's starting to really impress me too, i think the likes of him, Coutinho and Sturridge could develop into something special under Klopp.
