I think we're clutching at straws regarding a deal for someone else.

I don't see what the fuss is - Keane didn't contribute and wasn't playing anyway, so we're in no worse a position without him.

Lando, he has played in much of the games that gave us the points we currently have in the table mate. We haven't the points we have dragging 5 players all over the way. His contribution may be not good enough and not worth 20M, but it was a contribution. We can't say he hasn't played.

Exactly, I've posted this many times but people disregard Keane just because he didn't score goals.  Like it or not we would not be in contention for the title without Robbie Keane.

My point is that, had he stayed, he would not have played another minute for us.

So selling him doesn't affect the rest of the season.

Similarly, if he were not such a mardy, self-centred punk who tried to showboat his way around matches, he would not have been sold and we would have had more points on the board.

Hey ho.

Hey ho.

If Rafa had done quite a few things differently we might have put more points on the board as well, it's irrelevant.  I'm just saying I don't like the fact that people act as if his contribution was nothing.

For me zero contribution is Degen.

Next to zero contribution is Dossena.

If we're going to set the contribution of Keane in zero, then I have to extend the Dominion of the function and use negative numbers for Degen and Dossena.

nobody makes a fuss when Dosenna is on the bench or not in the squad, also his price is likely not going anywhere in relative terms to Keane's selling price.

Hey ho.

What are you basing this assumption on. Keane may have been performing below his best, but he was clearly giving his all and trying his best for the team. There was no show boating or acting self centered, he is very much a team player and a very popular one according to players who played with him.

Justify or not the signing of keane, I think we can all agree, with or without disagreement, he has been treated very poorly.

Justify Keanes poor contribution. Justify the Reasoning behind Rafas reasoning.

Keane wasnt given a fair crack of the whip, and will be forever labelled a joke for the fee we paid for him, his appearances for us and how he was dismissed within six months, without being given a good chance to prove himself.

He will be forever classed as one of our worst signings ever. A slur against a man that is most undeserved in my opinion.

Bang on the money there. :censored: poor management. If Rafa has done this to prove a point he should be fcuked off as soon as possible.

If Torres gets injured, well, Kuyt, Babel or Ngog ffs.
