Rafa cannot leave.

We are on the verge of greatness if just a few more players are signed and the management gets their act together.

Reina is the best goalkeeper in the world. He cannot leave.

Nobodies that stated their respect for Benitez being a reason to join the club
Torres
Mascherano
Alonso
Reina

If anybody knows of anymore nobodies like this then please contact Liverpool FC, Anfield, Liverpool Im sure the scouts will be grateful

my apology i thought mascherano joined liverpool because he could not get a game at west ham.torres joined liverpool to win things its not like rafa has the greatest personality in the world and players just had to sample such charisma.

my apology i thought alonso was at real sociedad and not real madrid.i thought he averaged a goal  every 10 games.

i'm sorry i though reina was at villareal and never played for the national side until he joined liverpool.

my big apology for mistaking these greats for nobodies.

If anyone doubts that Reina values the Liverpool supporters and life in Liverpool, they should read that interview he did with Torres that Saint started a thread on a couple of days back.  He's clearly not some mercinary that's here for glory but can't wait to move on.  And, besides, it's not like he made fun of the health care system or anything. :D

Yes, he played for Real Sociedad, Barcelona and Sabadell.

Don't get too carried away with this massive Spanish exodus, you won't get rid of me if Rafa and Xabi leave! :D

On a serious note, under normal circuntances I'd understand the loyalty bit just as some members do. But under THESE circuntances I see it as a statement of support to a man that has been undermined, sieged, and treated with little respect by the board.

a genuine quote from the article:
"Jose Reina has admitted he would consider leaving Liverpool if coach Rafael Benitez departs in the summer, describing life at the club without the Spaniard as unimaginable."

what was not said in the article:
"I don't care about Liverpool Football Club at all. Rafael Benitez is much more important and I'm only here because he is. I only ever want to play for him."

is this becoming any clearer for the knee jerky numpties out there?

Exactly those who dont particularly like what they see to be churlish putting the manager before the club statements. If
they want someone to boo and hiss at , should really lay the blame at perpu"traitors" of  the  Klinsman disgrace
