Well whatever it is Reina is just doing what many players would do , back their manager , just like drogba and lamps who will almost be joining mourinho's new club

I'm not saying Reina can't back Benitez, but not in the way he has.
1) You'll Never Walk Alone
2) pass and move is the Liverpool groove
3) FIRST WILL ALWAYS BE FIRST AND SECOND WILL ALWAYS BE NOTHING.
4) If Torres has scored 60 league goals for Liverpool by the start of the 2011/12 season, I'll say he's better than Owen.

Whats wrong with doing that? Back the manager no matter what , and its just speculation with this newspaper rumor , it may not even be true and here we are fighting like cats and dogs over whether its right or wrong

To be honest, I'd lose a lot of hope in the club if Rafa left. Even more if Reina goes.

If these players are playing for Rafa and not for Liverpool then they are free to go in my opinion, they should play for the club not the manager. There was talk when Josie left that there would be a mass exodus, well that would have shown no loyalty to the club or team mates. And of course it has yet to happen.

Reina has been vulnerable enough that his presence is not vital, if he and one or two others left and a manager came in a la Grant to take over the existing squad then I reckon man2man marking and a few key signings and we could be challenging - Reina isn't key to that success.

Somethin I never thought I'd  hear from you is the :censored: zonal debate. It shoud be banned.

Man to Man marking is a joke.

Are you serious?

Its a show of support from a player.

IT says to me he plays for Rafa and not for Liverpool FC.

It says that Liverpool FC is made-up of people - without those people, their influence, mannerisms, personality and stamp on the club - there is only a shell - a bit like a home ay - made-up of  people - and so it follows ...   :)

oh and BTW - we'll be challenging for the title next season - psychic boy - don't u worry ..  :;):

the scary thing is, keepers don't generally hit their peak until they've turned 30 which is frightening. :oh:

The same won't hold true for Reina imo.

Speed off his line is one of his main assets.  I think he'll be a worse player at 34 than 24, unlike most other keepers.

Top class at the moment.  He's the reason we're still in the CL after the games against Liege.

He almost set up a goal as well at one point when he came out and passed all the way to Torres in the 2nd half. Hes done that last season I think against Fulham. He has good vision for when distributing long balls!

Was that the one where he snuffed out a Marseille attack by racing off his line and beating their striker to the through ball and then proceeded to drift over to the touchline before knocking it 70 yards down field right to one of our attackers?  Brilliant stuff. :nod

Top performance from him last night. Maybe a bit non-committal for their goal, but a string of good saves handed us the result.
