anti-hero wrote:well i do feel sorry for him. he never was good enough but when given the chance to join a club like liverpool, as a player you jump at the chance. so no one can blame him for that. he tried, but it was obvious he couldnt hack it at the level we expected our players playing to. it was unfortunate that he was brought here, his abilities were left exposed and i dont think it was his fault. it was roy's.

so good luck paul konchesky!

im sorry your name will forever be bandied about with salif diao. your mom was a bi.tch too but i'm sure you were a nice guy. :)

Pretty much agree with this.

I saw a headline yesterday saying "Konchesky's Liverpool nightmare is over". I thought it should say "Liverpool's Konchesky nightmare is over". I still can't believe we paid £4m for him.

stop getting everyone's hopes up. Hopefully one piece of deadwood goes and the rest tumbles
All round the fields of Anfield Road

BTW, good luck to him. He was vilified because Roy bought him and because his Mum's a mousse, neither are his fault, he was just s.hit but still kept his head down and tried.

Leicester is playing some friendlies in Sweden this week. Actually played in my home town today. Won against a team called Sirius 1-3.

Hope he charms Sven Göran.

2nd that.

He also went out on loan in order to get 1st team footie rather than sit in the reserves and take his money for doing nothing...which is more than can be said for the rest of our deadwood

Also feel similar.. He didn't demand high wages and he came for a very cheap transfer fee.  He was no good and he knew he wasn't good enough, and even apologized when Lennon made him look like a school girl and scored giving spuds the 2-1 win on us in the 90th minute.

Went to championship as well to keep playing, so kudos to him.

Good luck Paul, too bad it never worked out.

true true, but it was 5m mate.

my most vivid memory of him was when we played spurs away, the game was one-one.
out came Lennon, 5 feet 5?
brushed Konchesky away like a 12 yr old gal, n scored at the death.

tat was the moment tat ended his LFC career for me.
